First West End show - beyond the West end really, James Birch's Gallery in the New King's road . It was more like the Wild West. 

I' was interested in the Neo Naturists as I’d seen them at the launch the Derek Jarman's book Dancing Ledge, where they blew up an inflatable paddling pool, added water, fried some fish fingers, urinated in the pool and threw the book in the water.'

James said, he gave Jennifer Binnie, Grayson Paerry and me solo shows after this fortuitous first meeting.

The private views were legendary, Jen arrived naked on a white horse, so to compete I stuck sequins on my tits and served canapés and scrumpy cider .... the evening ended with a game of spin the bottle
